In January of 2012, I wrote and co-produced a short, "Pretty Penny" starring Katie Hayek ("Mighty Macs") for the 60 second film festival.
Presently, I am working with William Flink on a short, "Freak" for production in Stockholm. This film about teen bullying might be filmed this spring/summer. More details to follow.
In November of 2010, Producer/Director Chris Messineo and I, in conjunction with Off Stage Films released a short film from my award-winning script, BRANCHES. The film features narration by Daniel Stern and a score by two-time Emmy winner Michael Whalen. The movie was shot in February of 2010 at Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Lehighton, PA. The film was recognized by several film festivals, including a nomination for Pennsylvania Filmmaker of the Year from The West Chester International Film Festival.
My suspense feature film script, EXPIRATION, from the 2009 feature competition, has been making the rounds to various actors and production companies. My short film CHEMISTRY placed third in FirstGlance Online Short Film competition and was a featured selection of The Wildwood By The Sea Film Festival in 2008.
My original MoviePoet script FOREVER STARTS was filmed in June of 2009 with director, Karl Nickoley and released as CHASING FOREVER. The movie features original songs by Karl's brother, Scott Nickoley. The feature-length version of the film is currently entered in several national screenplay competitions.
I am presently conducting workshops on screenwriting and writing for digital media at a variety of venues. I am available for collaborations, rewrites and spec script ideas.
