Biography: I thought I knew screenwriting fairly well, but it still eludes me with new details each time I write I discover something new about it and movies in general.
I didn't get the 'bug' for writing screenplays till I was in college. back then screenwriting wasn't as popular yet and about the only good book was Syd Field's 'Screenplay' which I read religiously. Only in the past 3-4 years though have I gotten more serious about my writing. After reading coutless books I have realized that I have read enough and now I need to just focus on the writing.
This site was helped with the focus and also to fine tune my writing. I am still far from where I want to be and occasionally I fall off the wagon thinking I'm crazy for wanting to write.
But I always seem to come back.
